Online Profits with Google AdSense
Google as a way to profit online? Absolutely true! I'm sure by now the majority of those on the internet have at least heard of Google AdSense, almost as sure as I am that anyone with a website has tried using AdSense at one point or another to earn revenue. AdSense is a very easy to use tool provided by Google that works in conjunction with Google AdWords to provide relevant ads on your website.
The way this works is pretty simple. A business pays for advertising on Google, then places ads to be shown in Google's search results and on other websites. In turn, Google then places these ads according to their relevancy, into their search results and on websites that have partnered with Google through AdSense. Since most of Google advertising is done on a Pay-Per-Click(PPC) basis, Google gets paid each time someone clicks on an add. Websites owners that have partnered with Google through AdSense also receive a portion of Google's profit each time someone clicks an ad displayed on their website. These transactions can range anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars depending upon how much a company is paying for advertising.
There are several "packages" or "systems" out there that promise to show you how to make thousands of dollars a month or per week even, just by using Google AdSense. I'm going to go ahead and break this down for you...even if you did make thousands of dollars a week (highly unlikely) using only Google AdSense, Google only sends out checks or direct deposits once per month. Thousands per month? This is actually a possibility if you have an extremely popular website. To give a reality check to these "packages" and "systems," seriously take a moment and do the math. Just say that you have a blog that attracts 100 visitors per day, and your average profit per click is $0.20. If 100 percent of those 100 visitors each click an ad, your profits would average around $20 per day. This averages out to be around $600 per month. Still not too bad, but a far cry from thousands per week.
You don't need some 20 to 50 dollar package to tell you how to do this...its really simple, and you wont get much more than this out of any of the packages for sale out there. Go to https://www.google.com/adsense/login/en_US/ and click on "Sign Up Now." Follow the instructions, sign up for the account, wait for approval from Google. Once your AdSense account is approved, follow the instructions after logging in to get started. Answer a few questions from Google, tell them how you want ads to be displayed on your page, submit, and copy your HTML code provided by Google AdSense. Paste the code into your website. Ads will appear on your site, people click on the ads, you get paid. Its as simple as that.
Keep in mind that this is just a very brief overview of the "how-to," but if you have questions or need to find information about performance and optimization of the ads, refer to Google's AdSense help forums and the training material provided by Google. DO NOT waste your time and hard-earned money with any of the so-called proven "systems" as you will find that all the information, training, and advice is free and available to the public.
If you have any questions on this topic or any other topic that I have discussed, please don't hesitate to ask!

Google Analytics Integrates with AdSense
One of the earliest requests that I remember seeing AdSense publishers making of Google in forums is for better analytics and stats on their AdSense earnings.
Today (years later) AdSense have announced what we’ve all been suspecting would happen for ages - they’re integrating AdSense with Google Analytics stats.
It isn’t available to all publishers yet (they’re rolling it out gradually) but if it is you’ll see an invitation in your AdSense admin area. Here’s how AdSense describe it:
“you’ll now have access to granular reports that break down AdSense performance both by page and by referring site. Armed with this new data about user behavior, you’ll be able to make more informed decisions on how to improve the user experience on your site and optimize your AdSense units to increase your revenue potential.”
Being able to know which specific pages on your blog are earning a lot (or not much) and which sites traffic earns you the most is going to open our eyes as publishers to many possibilities and hopefully more profitable blogging.
Here’s a video from AdSense that hopefully sheds some more light on this new feature for those of us not yet able to access it.
AdSense Allows Feed Ad Review
Google AdSense launched a feed ad program last August. Now, they're enabling users to review their ads before they appear in the posts.
The feature is called the Ad Review Center. Users can approve or disapprove of ads before they go into the feeds.
To do so, login to your AdSense account. Then look for the Ad Review Center in the 'Competitive Ad Filter' section under the 'AdSense Setup' tab. Choose the Client-ID starting with ca-feed-pub.
You'll have to put your ads on hold for 24 hours before you can filter through them. During that time, no ads will be served to your feeds, but afterwards you can go through the ad approval process.

Google AdSense Offers Expandable, Rich Media Ads
Google AdSense is introducing expandable ads to their ad offering. Expandable ads are ones that increase when an action is taken. With some networks, ads increase in size when a user mouses over or scrolls a page. But AdSense's expandable ads will increase only when clicked on.
The AdSense expandable ads will only increase up to double the width or height of the original display. Users can click to close the ad at any time. The ads can include rich media such as video and images.
Advertisers will pay based on a cost-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-impression (CPM) basis. CPC ads will only cost the advertiser when users click through to the landing page.

It also means having money flow into your bank account every single month, whether you work or not. So, in order to achieve great success working from home, you must first understand the difference between, Leveraged Income, Linear Income & Passive Residual Income. Let's take a look:
Income Type #1 or Leveraged Income, is a little better than Linear Income, but still not that great, because your income is based on the efforts of those who earn linear income. This is where you can get paid from the work of others, like being a small business owner or a manager, however, leveraged income does not offer real security, because linear income employees, can quit, find a higher paying job or start their own competing business.
Income Type #2 or Linear Income, is income generated by working at a job. When you work, you get paid. When you do not work, you do not get paid. This is how most people live their lives and why those who only work for Linear Income, can never stop working.
Income Type #3 or Passive Residual Income is the income that allows ordinary people to achieve extraordinary success in a Home Based Business, because every distributor has the same exact opportunity to gain. This means that anyone, regardless of where they live, how old they are, or what their experience is, can earn as much or as little as they like, based on their own commitment and effort. Think about it.
Corporate icons are toppling daily, massive job terminations and pension defaults are commonplace and globalism is in full swing. There has truly never been a better time to be self-employed or a worse time to be faithfully employed.
Airlines are experiencing turbulence financially. GM & Ford are moving toward bankruptcy and jobs are targeted for rightsizing, downsizing, and outsourcing.
If you take a new job today, in four years the statistics say that you'll be jobless again. So much for job security in the 21st Century!

AdSense Like a Business
AdSense Like a Business
People don’t want to hear me say that AdSense is a business because it sounds too much like work is involved. And we all know people hate to work. They want to become rich with as small effort as possible. After all, it sounds a lot better to hear me say you can easily make money by putting Google ads on your site or blog than it does to say, “You have to build a ton of content, learn how to optimize every page for the search engines, and market your site or blog like crazy.” Who wants to hear that ? But the fact is, the reason most people never make much with AdSense is they don’t understand this is all about learning how to draw enough targeted traffic to your site or blog to make any worthwhile money. And that’s simply marketing. If you can’t produce at least 100 unique visitors per day to your site, you’re probably not going to earn sufficient AdSense revenue to make this process worth your time. People aren’t just going to fall upon your site or blog just because you created it. It’s not like offline, where you can throw up a Lemonade Stand in the middle of a busy street and thirsty people will just find you and buy your lemonade. The Web is much different. People find websites and blogs by searching for information in a search engine like Google. And Google only “recommends” sites that provide useful information and are recommended by other related sites. And when I say “Google recommends sites” understand that I mean ranks . So when you see a site ranked #1 for a particular keyword phrase in Google, it’s because Google can tell how many other related and authority sites are linked to them using the keyword phrase that was searched. What do I mean by authority sites ? These are sites that have been deemed popular by Google because of their high traffic and quality inbound links (other sites linking to them.) Five Basic Tips For Google Adsense
Google Adsense is a quick way to earn some money, but learning the Google Adsense secret can mean earning even more. Google Adsense is an advertising program that pays you to display ads on your site, using a pay-per-click program. The host site can actually choose between text or image ads. Google will send a check when your account reaches $100, but be aware that this can take some time if you're just starting out. You may, however, be paid more quickly than you thought, depending on how well you use the program.
If you aren't already using Google Adsense, you should start; it's an opportunity you don't want to miss. Signing up isn't hard; you simply fill out the information and click on "send". After Google receives your information, they send a confirmation email, to which you must reply before getting started.
Here are a few Google Adsense Tip ideas that can help you.
- Start a blog about something specific, instead of just making random entries. For instance, if you wanted to sell chocolates, you would write all about chocolates. You wouldn't stray over to politics or horses, unless they had a connection. This can also help you to keep your traffic.
- Optimize the words you use. I learned that if you bold certain keywords, the Google ads that relate to them will pop up. This can help you with your click-through rate.
- Make sure your site can be easily navigated. If a clicker can't find his or her way through your site, they probably won't be coming back.
- Learn where you should place your ads for more optimal click-through exposure.
- Always keep your site current; this helps in keeping your customers coming back to see what is new, and this in turn helps your click-through rate.
- Use the most popular keywords. Advertisers pay more to put their ads on sites that contain popular keywords, as these sites will be visited most often. This will bring in more traffic to your site, resulting in higher click pay rates. There are software programs that you can use to find the most currently popular keywords.
Applying to google adsense
Applying for google adsense
Applying for Google Adsense the right way. Okay so you want to put use Google adsense to generate a passive income for your website. So you just apply get granted an account, then cut and paste the standard code right? Well no that is very wrong. Let me start at the beginning with the right way to apply for an adsense account. It is as fairly basic procedure but get it wrong and they will turn down your application and your chances of a successful re-application are slim to zero.
So on with the basics of applying for the adsense programme. You will need one of two things to do this, either have a website or a blog with blogger.com.
Firstly to Google content is king it is that simple, so in either case you will need to have some decent content be it on your blog or your website, as an example you can apply for an adsense account directly from blogger (as Google owns it) and this route does seem to be the fastest way to get a new account, but you obviously need to have some content on the blog first so if you choose this route then make 8-10 good quality post before applying for the adsense program. You can do this directly from Blogger under ‘Configure blog post’ where there is a link to adsense.
Secondly you can do what most people do and apply for it for you website. Now there is a myth that you have to have had a website for a set time before getting approved, it is just that a myth! It is all down to content, if you have had a site for five years but it has no real content as such you will not get approved. Yet if you started a new site three days ago but you have great content that people will find interesting then you will get approved. It really is that simple.
Time for approval? The time it takes to get approved varies but I’m pretty certain that this is only down to demand e.g. if 10,000 apply one week and 100,000 the adsense team will suffer the same peaks and troughs in their workload as we all do. It can take 5-10 working days, if you have not heard anything after 15 days send them a polite email progressing your application.

Earn Money With Google Adsense
Do you want to make money quick? In this article we are going to talk about one of the quickest ways you can make money. Making money quick is not only possible there are people doing it everyday with Google Adsense.
Google AdSense delivers text and image ads that match the content on your website. These are very targeted ads that you can choose the size and color of and they come across to your customer as helpful more than an ad itself.
Google Ads require virtually no maintenance and they help you put advertising on your website without actually having to deal with advertisers yourself. If you can copy and paste a small code you can have targeted advertising on your website in minutes.
Adsense is simple to join and it is free to join. Whether you are an internet newbie or a veteran you can profit quickly by placing Google Adsense ads on your web pages.
Since Google does all of the work by finding the most profitable ads for your pages you can do what you do best....provide good content and lots of it. The more web pages you create the quicker you will be making money. You can learn more here:
https://www.google.com/adsense/
Once you have joined Google Adsense you will want to combine Google search with AdSense to monetize more of your web pages. You can do this by placing a Google search box on your pages. Google AdSense combines Google's search technology with
thousands of keyword advertisers to deliver targeted text-based ads to search result pages. People find these ads useful and click on them, and when they do, Google pays you.
You can see an example of how this works right here on this web page. In fact we combine Google search and Google Adsense on almost every website and web pages we create. We have found it a very easy way to make money quick and to make money over and over. It's great.
Google AdSense is the Google program where you can host pay-per-click ads on your Web site. When someone clicks an ad, you earn money. Simple as that.
Is it really as easy to make money with Google AdSense as many would lead you to believe? Now that I've become heavily involved with managing Google AdSense programs for my clients, I can see it's not all play and no work.
Unfortunately, a lot of people bought into the idea that there was a lot of easy money to be made and they are now finding out they aren't making nearly as much as they thought they would. Additionally, Google has a lot of prohibited practices when it comes to AdSense, and too many Webmasters are finding out they violated Google's policies after the fact - often because they never bothered to read the AdSense policies in the first place.
Tips of Google Adsense
You can make money with google adsense. The best google adsense tip will be shown to you. There is definitely good money that can be made if you know the google adsense secret. You want to follow all the rules exactly that are mentioned by the adsense policies. If you play it on the positive side, you will make more money. You also should never change the google adsense HTML code. Don't be one of those people to ask your friends and all your relatives to click on your google ads. Don't promise anything to users if they click on the ads either. Never label the google ads with text that says anything other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements".
Another good google adsense tip is please don't click on the ads on that are on your page. Google has prepared for this, and will know if you are reloading your pages more than you should be. An unofficial google adsense sandbox tool is there to use if you are testing your site. It is accessible from Firefox, IE and other browsers that will look to see what kind of google ads will be served to you. You also never want to put an ad in a pop-up window or in error pages. Not even on empty pages. You don't want to put something on a page just to try to make money on an accidental click. You won't make enough money. Write about things in your blog that you feel very strongly about.
Please don't waste your money on google adsense keyword lists that cost a lot of money. When you have a short article, you will find better results if the ads are placed above the content. When it is a long article, you have better success if the ad is somewhere in the middle of the content. As the reader is done reading information they will want to search for more. This is a very useful google adsense tip. You will make more money if you follow these steps that have been a google adsense secret.
Ads can work well in-between other stuff. On a games site of mine, some of the games don't contain ads next to the game area; the AdSense ad will only be shown in-between game rounds. This is the time the visitor is not concentrating on performing a task but might take a small break, and be open to the option of visiting new sites.
Put too much emphasis on AdSense and your site may be linked to less. The more available space you dedicate to AdSense on your site, and the less you differentiate between ads and content in your design, the more money you earn with the program, right? Not quite. While pushing the AdSense may result in short-term gains, it might also convince some visitors that the site is too crowded to be worth visiting again. And some of those visitors may also be bloggers or other people who might otherwise help to promote your site with links to it. And the less your site gets linked to, the less traffic it gets, meaning AdSense revenues may go down in the long term.
Even if you get huge traffic, the AdSense income from the site is more dependent on the site type and audience. Google targets AdSense ads automatically to the site content. Or at least, it does so ideally – but some types of content fare better than others with this targeting. I noticed for instance that AdSense does better on a games site than on a technology blog. I also heard people say that AdSense does quite good on product oriented blogs; say, one post solely about the iPod; another post solely about Gadget XYZ, and so on.
Image ads can be relevant and work for you, but they might also apall some visitors. Google's AdSense program gives you the option to choose between a couple of different ad formats. Two main groups are text ads vs text & image ads. When you choose the latter, Google will deliver what they deem works best for your content (or so one would hope, and it would be in Google's best self-interest to serve you the best possible ad, it seems).
However, Google doesn't really know your layout preferences, and they don't really understand when your audience thinks ads are "too much"; and considering image ads include Flash animations (which you can't disable, once you go for image ads), Flash animations may well push some people away. One thing you can do is to only show image ads in areas where they don't disturb the content, e.g. at the end of posts. Also, you might want to listen to visitor feedback on the ads being served; I received emails before that the blinking ad on this or that site made a person want to leave the site, at which point I blocked the specific advertiser via the AdSense Setup -> Competitive Ad Filter option. When it comes to context sensitive targeting, you can increase or lower the importance of certain parts of your page. To help Google find a matching ad for your content, you can use the HTML comment syntax by encapsulating more important parts with.
You Will Lose A Big Portion of Your AdSense Earnings If You Don't Do This
You are working hard creating good and quality content for your Google AdSense web site. You carefully plan a good link building strategy for your Google AdSense web site. You distribute your articles through article distribution channels regularly. You submit your Google AdSense web site to web directories and you've done basic search engine optimization on all of your AdSense pages. You work extremely hard to get as much traffic as possible to your Google AdSense web site.
One day, you receive an email from a webmaster who owns a huge mailing list informing you that your site will be featured in his newsletter. You are happy that someone likes your Google AdSense web site and he will promote your web site for free. You start receiving huge amount of referral traffic from his newsletter. Instead of getting 2000 hits per day, you are getting 200,000 hits per day now. This sudden traffic surge boosts the number of clicks on your Google AdSense ads. Your Google AdSense earning is increased by a few folds.
Before you know it, you receive an email from Google saying that your account is suspended due to "invalid clicks". You didn't click on your Google AdSense ad intentionally or accidentally. Everything you did so far does not violate the Google AdSense terms and conditions. You could not figure what went wrong and why your Google AdSense account is suspended.
Sudden Jump in Google Earnings Triggers Red Flag
The sudden jump in your Google earnings has alerted the Google AdSense team and the result is the suspension of your Google AdSense account. In fact, this happens to a dozen of Internet Marketers. However they manage to get their Google AdSense account fully reinstate using the right strategy.
If your AdSense account is suspended because of the sudden jump of your Google AdSense earning, you should stay calm and plan the right strategy before you talk to Google. You should be patient when dealing with Google. You should be polite when communicate with them and take initiative to provide them with all the documents they may need. You should not argue with them why they've suspended your account unfairly. After all, your main purpose is to get your Google AdSense Account reinstated.

Started Blogging with Adsense
Ever since the Internet first came into use, people have tried to find ways to profit from it. Throughout the course of the Internet, over the past decade or so, several different programs have come to light which have helped people to make a substantial amount of money. One of these programs is offered by Google and once you have an account with Google, you can run their ads on your blog. It is an excellent way for you to make some extra money for your efforts, or even to start a business that can become a source of income. As a matter of fact, blogging with Adsense is one of the easier ways to get started making money that is currently available. The first thing that you are going to need to do is to establish an account with Google so that you could begin running the ads on your blog. In order for you to do this, you are either going to need to have an established website that you are hosting on your own server or a blog that is running on blogger.com. Although it is possible for you to make money by using the blogger.com service, it is a much better idea for you to have your own domain and hosting so that you have total control over all aspects of the software. There are some add-on programs that can easily be incorporated with your blogging software which will automatically insert the Adsense into your blog posts. This is easily accomplished for any future post that you are going to make. For any existing blog posts that have already gone on the Internet, you might want to consider having somebody edit your template or editing them yourself in order to begin blogging with Adsense using your pre-existing content. |
Started With Adsense
A very important element in the rapid adoption of AdSense is that it has been very easy for publishers to get the ads on their site as quickly as possible.
Integrating AdSense in your website takes only a few minutes, and you can be on your way with one or more nicely integrated AdSense ads.
The first thing you need to do is navigate to https://www.google.com/adsense/login/ar/ and either apply or log in with your existing account and password. What follows is a page presenting the Google AdSense Terms and Conditions which you must agree to in order to proceed.
You are presented with a report page which you can use to get a detailed status on how your AdSense advertising is doing. This allows you to improve your site's contents and layout to maximize your AdSense earnings.
On the top of your page you also have link to the setup section where you can generate the code that will need to be pasted on your website in order to have AdSense banners on your page.
You can use AdSense for text (the said ads), using a search box or with referrals. Your choice among these options depends on how users will navigate your site.
Finally, there is a "My Account" tab which allows you to set up details concerning your account, payment and tax information.
To add a text ad on your site, go back to the "AdSense Setup" tab and click the "AdSense for content" link. Make sure you have cookies enabled in your browser.
You can make a choice between ad units and link units. The former contain text and or images concerning a certain site for each unit, most with a detailed description, the latter only contain links to certain types.
Of course, it's a bit hard to know which type you should use so you should probably experiment with both for a while before you decide.
You can also view an example of how the unit will look to the right of your page. However, you may only use three ad units and one link unit on any given page. This is believed to be a step which Google takes for quality control.
The next step is to choose your add format and colors. You can basically select any color palette you choose with Google offering some of its own if you don't have the time or skill to create one. You can constantly view how the palette will look through the aid of an example. The one that works best in terms of appearance and revenues will vary with the look, feel and content of a website.
However, your ad formats are limited to a choice of eleven formats. There's an "Ad Formats" link which takes you to a page that lets you see all even of these in action so you can decide best which one suits your site. Sometimes the most intrusive, doesn’t work best however again, this can vary from website to website.
After you finish with customization, you can click "Continue" from the bottom of the page.
You are now presented with a section entitled "AdSense for Content". You can click anywhere in the text and that shows the JavaScript required to get AdSense running. This will automatically select the text in the box.
You can then copy it and paste it into your pages directly. If you use dynamic pages, you should paste this code within your template so as to ensure that it gets displayed on any page of your website. Some advertisers choose not to display Adsense on every page, and this is understandable. An example of this is a company that has adsense, may also have terms and condition which would inevitably provide legal resources which would probably be deemed inappropriate.
What is then left for you to do is get content on your page (provided you didn't have any already). Google AdSense crawlers will soon visit your site, making sure that the ads displayed are relevant to your site's content.
And you're all done. For a simple page this should indeed be a matter of a few minutes, which is precisely what makes AdSense the choice for so many. Although it is quick, its mass appeal also makes it the best. Through being the most popular, advertisers and publishers alike see Adsense and Adwords as their natural first choice.
If you've been using Google's AdSense on your pages
SEO for Adsense
If you've been using Google's AdSense on your pages you obviously feel the need to somehow
generate even more traffic for your website, which in turn would translate to more AdSense click and a higher income.
But who do you do this? Well, the major way you'll get visitors to see your website (other then using AdWords, which is encouraged as well) is to use some techniques to have search engines send more and more users towards your page, by ranking high in search results for your topics of interest.
Believe it or not this is a technique, better known as search-engine optimization or simply SEO. So here are a bunch of tips that come handy under every amateur or professional optimizer's belt.
The first thing you need to take care of is the actual source code and layout of your page. This has to be kept as simple as possible. The problem comes when AdSense and the search engines themselves begin to have troubles in extracting the most relevant keywords on your site because of a too complex layout.
Secondly, try to have each one of your pages target only one specific topic. This way it is a lot easier for them to get indexed properly and for the AdSense ads to be consistent with the content of the site itself.
Also, try not to include too many hyperlinks in your page as well. This also means you should try not to use too many AdSense ads on your page either.
If there are certain keywords you wish to target, make sure the word you wish to target is present in the title, in the first paragraphs as well as in the name of the file. While you're at it you might want to ensure the word springs up in the page's last paragraphs.
And of course, it's very important for your content to have original and compelling content. How do you do this? Well the easiest way to do it is to find something you're really passionate about. That way, providing you give it a lot of effort you're bound to have a great page quite fast.
If the content you use in your site is in the public domain (which is highly discouraged) make sure that you at least give it an original title, and add an opening and a closing paragraph of your own.
This takes a little while, but if, after waiting, you still can't find your page near the top, you should try rewriting your title and your first and last paragraphs. It doesn't take much, often just changing a few words will give you the right results.
And of, course there's the use of keyword tools that may aid you in finding some good keywords to include on your page that will drive visitors to your site more and more.
So those are about the basic techniques in search engine optimization. You can find a lot of computer tools to aid you in doing this, and of course, Google is a great place to search for this.
In the end, you'll find that SEO is a complex topic, and entire books have been written on the topic as well. You might find that you have a lot of optimization you need to do in order to get more and more visitors to your site and clicking those precious AdSense banners.
You need to have optimized niche website templates for best results. You may find the best adsense templates and blog templates at Adsense Big. They are offering 100 fresh new templates every month.

Google AdSense drops AdSense for video look
Google AdSense has decided to no longer offer their Google AdSense for video (not to be confused with video ads, where advertiser’s videos appear in an ad unit in lieu of a text or image ad). These ads, which have been around for just over a year, allowed publishers to show certain YouTube videos embedded on their own sites, and showing AdSense ads overlayed.
The program was good for publishers using it, and I know I have heard from publishers who didn’t even know it existed. But there were restrictions on the usage, which definitely contributed to the fact it wasn’t widely adopted.
The program is ending at the end of April, so publishers should remove the units before then. However, if you decide to keep them up, they will change to the standard YouTube embedded players, which will not earn any revenue. They do state that earnings will continue until the end of April, so you don’t need to worry that you will lose income prior to it ending
How to Reapply for Adsense?
It is important to understand how to reapply for Google Ansense when you need to do so for whatever the reason.
Some of the reasons why a publisher has to reapply for Google Adsense are:
- To transfer the ownership of a website (like when you buy a website that already has Adsense in it, from someone else ).
- When the account was suspended for click fraud, voilation of Google's terms of service, or for other illegal means.
- When you were rejected at the initial application itself.
- When the site has functionality problems.
Now let us see how to act to reapply in each of the cases:
Change of Ownership
You can reapply by sending an email to Adsense support team and amply demostrate the change of owner ship in your email. As long as the website was previously not banned and meets all the requirements to qualify for Adsense, your application will be accepted. It is important to make sure before buying, if the site is banned from Adsense for any reason. You can enquire this from Adsense team by sending them an email.
Account was Banned or Disabled
A publisher can get banned for click fraud or voilation of any Adsense program policies. Normally the publisher gets a notification email from Google explaining why the account was banned. When you receive such an email, you have to know how to react and defend (if you are not at fault, ofcourse). In some cases it will not be very hard to reactivate your account. But in some cases such as click fraud it is really hard to get the account back on the road. Here are some of the causes for disabling a, Adsense account:
Click Fraud:
Adsense registers what they consider as invalid, malicious or fradulant clicks on the Adsense Ads generated mainly for the purpose of personal gain in adsense revenue. More more information, see our article on Click Fraud.
What to do?
- Email Google Adsense team with an apology and admitting the blame. However, if you consider you have not done anything wrong, they will see this situation triggered by one of your actions, even if not directly.
- Be persistent. Send an email regularly, say once a week to show them that you are comitted and loyal to the program.
- Keep a polite tone. Don't be confrontational. Being rude will never work.
- Offer to make compensation on the malicious clicks to ensure them that you are truly sorry.
Incentives or Advising the Users for Clicks :
This occurs usually for publishers who are not well aware of Google Adsense program policies. Google prohibits using any other phrase except "Sponsered Links" or "Advertisements" around google Ads. Using phrease such as "Please click on the links" etc. or telling the visitors that it is madatory to click on Ads to use some other service on your site or to offer incentives for clicks etc., are some of the reasons that can potentially have your account banned.
What to do?
Just remove all content from your site that can be intrepreted as ' promoting clicks on your site' and resubmit your application. And never, never repeat such acts if you are lucky enough to have your account reactivated.
Rejection of the Initial Application
Usually Google rejects a site for Adsense, because the site does not meet all the Google Adsense program policies.
What to do?
Read the Google Terms of Service carefully and make sure you site meets all the requirements. In some case even if the site is perfect, they may reject because of their mistake. In such case resumit the application and have them take a second look at your site. They usually give the approval immediatly in such cases.
Banned because of functionality problems
- When there is any problem on any page that causes it to automatically refresh.
- When you have an automatic procedure serving Google ads to all pages including 404 error pages and search pages.
- When there are some broken links or any other site disfunctionalities that come against Google stipulations.
What to do?
Solving the problems and resubmitting will usually be enough.
How much can I earn with Adsense?
The earnings from Adsense can range from a few cents a day from a single website to several thousands of dollars over a network of websites. The Adsense program itself has nothing to do with how much a publisher can make using Adsense. Its all about building quality websites that attracts visitors and trageted Ad market. Once you have got targeted traffic, you can monitise that traffic using Adsense. Building quality and focussed content which has some commercial market value and attracting targeted traffic to the sites you build are the keys of making money on web using Adsense.
So, here are a few things you need to learn to succeed with Adsense:
- Building quality content sites that focus on a specific niche that interestes the audiense of that niche.
- Finding right keywords to target the market and build websites suitbale for those markets. Keyword Research is an important skill
- Finding niche markets that has high demand and low supply.
- Search engine optimisation of your webpages is important to make your web pages rank well on search engines.
- Building links with similar suits will improve the page rank for your pages.
How AdSense works?
The twist is that Google pays each Web publisher a commission, in exchange for running the ads. It's found money for many publishers, who say they make anywhere from $50 to $200 a month and beyond.

Google Adsense advertising system invloves three different kinds of people:
-
Advertisers: Advertisers use Google Adwords program to advertise their Ads not only on the Google Search results, but also on the content pages of the external websites and blogs that participate in Google Adsense Program. They do this on either PPC (Pay-Per-Click) or CPM (Pay-Per-Thousand Impressions) basis. Advertisers can optionally select which websites they want their Ads to show on.
-
Publishers or Web site owners: Website owners and Blog owners participate in Google Adsense using which they place the Ads served by Google on their content web pages. They do this by placing a Javascript provided by Google on their webpages or blogs. Website owners has the option to choose various formats, colors and a whole lot of customization options using which they can control and blend the Ads according to the look of their websites. Google Adsense program also provides various performance monitoring options (such as channels) for website owners to track and maximise the performance of Ads on their web sites.
-
Website Visitors: When a visitor visits a Google Adsense Particepant's website, they see relavent Ads along side the content. If the visitor clicks on any of these Ads, Google shares an undisclosed percentage of the cost of that click with the website owner.
Hence this is how we can summarise the process of how Adsense Program works:
-
The website owner signs in to the program.
-
Ads are placed on the website according to:
- AdSense™'s contextual selection and filtering criteria
- the publisher's options (the publisher gets to filter ads)
- the advertiser's option, in the case of impressions-based advertising (the advertiser can choose from a number of available sites)
- The publisher receives an undisclosed share of the revenue from the ads.
AdSense is based on the PPC and CPM advertising payment models.
Pay Per Click: AdSense PPC advertisments are text ads that appear on your website according to its contextual selection and filtering criteria. When a site visitor clicks on the ad, the advertiser is charged a small amount, of which Google keeps some and pays some to the website owner.
Pay-Per-Thousand Impressions (CPM): AdSense CPM ads are text or image ads and are site-targeted. The advertiser pays each time his ad is displayed on a page (every time Google ad code is executed by a user's browser). The same, each time an impression is registered, a share of the money goes to the publisher. In this case the advertiser gets to choose the sites on which his ads will show.
Here's how things are going to work behind the scenes: Google centralizes the advertisement through AdWords and uses a contextual targeting algorithm for their placement, that is, sorts them out so as to place them on sites with specific appropriate content.
The strategy lies in the reasoning according to which surfers that visit a page might be interested in finding additional info or products on that particular topic. And it works if the website is good enough for the purpose. Hense by having an attractive website and keeping visitors interested so they feel the need to go further and find out more by clicking on the ads, a Website or Blog owner can benefit from the Google Adsense program.
What is AdSense?
Google.com earns most of its revenue by allowing other website owners to advertise on their search result pages. All this is managed through a program they call AdWords.
Now you can earn a share of the revenue that Google earns from AdWords by displaying these same text ads on your site. In other words, you're helping Google advertise and they pay you a percentage of what they earn.
This program is called AdSense.
Every website owner should at least consider the program. Even if your site is just for information purposes, you can still participate and make decent money with AdSense -- or at least enough to fund your website.
- AdSense
- Google's AdSense program lets you sell advertising space for other people's ads on your website--and not just any ads that Google chooses, but ads that are relevant to your site's content pages. The service is free, and you earn money every time someone clicks on an ad.
AdSense is a great program, though Google has given it a confusing name. If they'd called it AdSpace, you'd know right away what it's about: selling advertising space on your website. Despite the nomenclature issue, AdSense (www.google.com/adsense) has become popular with bloggers and other people who run noncommercial sites. You sign up, carve out some space on your pages for the ads (Figure 1), paste a few lines of code from Google into the HTML for your site, and let Google fill in your pages with color-coordinated ads. When somebody clicks one of the ads, Google pays you a fee (the amount varies, and the company doesn't disclose its payments).
Note: AdSense can be tricky for e-commerce sites because you can't fully control which ads appear on your site, and you wouldn't want to run ads for your competitors' merchandise right next to your own displays. You can, however, filter out some ads.
Though you can't decide which ads appear on your site, Google does a very nice job of assessing your pages and supplying ads that might interest your visitors. For example, if you run a site about the history of window treatments, Google is likely to dish up ads for vintage blinds and specialty curtain rods. That kind of relevance is important, because Google doesn't pay you when somebody sees an ad on your site; it pays you when somebody clicks an ad. So you want Google to fill your space with blurbs likely to interest your readers.
The $64,000 question is, of course, how much can you make? The exact answer is: it depends. If your site gets tons of visitors, and you focus on a narrow topic, there's a good chance Google will serve up ads that appeal to a lot of people hitting your site. For example, if you run a popular site devoted to mobile gadgetry, you might make enough to buy a new device every few months. If your site gets sporadic traffic, or more important, if it's not clearly about something, it may be hard for Google to supply highly relevant ads, and you might make enough to cover a box of paper clips every so often.
You may not know what Google Adsense Program is but you've probably heard it before. Google Adsense program is one of the hottest ways to make passive income for people with all types of websites. The Google Adsense program consists of Google Adsense for content and Google Adsense for Search.
Google Adsense content is an easy way for website owner to make money by displaying Googles Adsense ads on the content pages of their websites. Google Adsense will deliver ads that are most related to your site content. Google Adsense for Search provides Google search capability to your website. The Adsense Ads will be displayed in the search results pages.
How do You Make Money with Google Adsense?
As mentioned, Google will deliver the Adsense ads that are best match the content of your web page. Every time a user clicks on a Google Adsense ad, Google will pay you. Google will share a portion of the profit it gets from its advertisers with you. Since Google provides you the ads, you no longer have to worry about dealing with your advertisers. It is so easy to set up an Adsense Account and start making money with Adsense. Everyone should give it a try.
How Do You Get Started?
Before you apply for a Google Adsense account, you should have your own website ready. If your site is still under construction or it is not ready, your application will be rejected. You can resubmit your application once your site is ready and Google will review your application. It takes a day or two for Google Adsense team to approve a new Adsense application. Read this before you apply for your Google Adsense account.
Once your application is approved, it takes only minutes to set up the Google Adsense Ad on your website. All you have to do is cut and paste a designated block of HTML code into the source code for your site. Once you've done that, you will start seeing Adsense Ads on your site.
A Piece of Advice
Please read the terms and conditions of Google Adsense program carefully because if you're caught violating these terms and conditions, you will be banned for life. You should never ever try to manipulate your adsense income by clicking on Google Adsense ads on your website or ask someone to click on the Adsense ads intentionally. Google Adsense is intelligent enough to know the click fraud and they will terminate your Adsense account immediately. It is almost impossible to make an appeal to Google without a good and valid reason.
